Jasmine C. Leyva is a filmmaker based out of Los Angeles. She directed "The Invisible Vegan," starring Cedric the Entertainer, John Salley, and other health luminaries. It is an independent documentary about health in the black community that can be found on Amazon Prime, and she is currently working on a follow-up documentary called The Invisible Shame, starring Vivica A. Fox and others leaders in the food and mental health space. Recently, Leyva took a four-month sabbatical to Bali, where she decided to focus on nothing but herself and unexpectedly became a certified mermaid. Her path is proof that abundance does not have to be an expected career or financial goal coming to pass. Her abundance comes from her willingness to let go of her expectations and remain open to the endless magical possibilities that the world has to offer.
